Brief Introduction

 

Seawolf is an interactive multi-player submarine warfare game using OpenGL.

 

 

Introduction Screen: Allows setting of options

 

 

Connection Dialog Box: After clicking Connect to Server, enter the IP or DNS name of the server computer and click OK.

 

 

Preferences Dialog: Once connected, the preferences window will change to indicate the connection. Click next to continue.

 

 

Model selection dialog: Use the scroll bar to select which the preferred model. IMPORTANT: After selecting a model, click “Request this Sub” to request one or more subs. If you forget to request any subs, you will be placed in the game without any subs to control. Each time the request button is pressed, the Number of Subs counter increments by one.

 

Standard game window: A view of the submarine from behind with mines on the left side, radar, and the damage meter. Gray objects on the sonar are neutral, blue are friendly, and red are enemies.

 

 

The submarine firing a torpedo: Notice the particle system bubbles between the torpedo and the sub. A second sub is also hiding in the fog just above the first.
